Do you offer same day delivery?
If you place an order before 2pm and you are in a suburb of metro Melbourne that we can do same day delivery, you should get your firewood by 6pm.
How long will a box of wood burn for?
There are a many variables to consider when working out how long are box of wood will burn for. The environment and weather are just 2 factors of many that affect how long a box of wood will burn for. Good conditions you are looking 2-3hrs.
What are the firestarters made of?
The firestarters we use in the Starter Kit are pulped and recycled waxed cardboard (like the fruit boxes). It’s a great way to repurpose this type of cardboard that would otherwise go to landfill.
Do I need matches, newspaper or kindling when I order a Starter Kit?
No. Everything you need is contained in the Starter Kit. Instructions, firestarter, kindling and wood.
Can I click & collect?
Yes. We offer click & collect from our shop in Upper Ferntree Gully.
Do you promote the responsible and ethical harvesting of firewood?
Yes, at Aussie Firewood Kings we believe in sustainable timber. We only use the services of professional, commercial forestry contractors, who are licensed and regulated by state and federal governments.
